As part of our Employment Ontario Integrated Employment Services transformation, WCG is pleased to invite you and your staff to participate in the survey by clicking on the link below. As a valued community partner, we wish to learn from your experiences in supporting equity deserving individuals, to help inform the development of our delivery model. We believe your insight and feedback are crucial to the success of WCG developing effective employment services for all communities across Toronto.

We will be sharing the results with all of those who participated, which we hope will support you and your organization in future service development.

Next Steps

  • October – November 2024: our research partner Blueprint will be working with us to collate the research to support program design.

  • December 2024: WCG will share our findings with you, which we hope will give more insight in further supporting your service users
  • January 2025, onwards: WCG will be developing community partnerships, informed by the research. This will include, addressing gaps in our provision and releasing funding opportunities.

Electronic surveys will be distributed, and responses stored in a secure cloud-based online survey platform (Qualtrics). The surveys do not collect any personally identifiable information such as names, SIN, or contact information. All cloud data is stored in data centres located within Canada. Only members of the Blueprint research team will have access to the survey and data. Every Blueprint staff receives data privacy and security training, and all researchers have obtained TCPS 2 certificates on research data ethics. Blueprint has a robust set of IT policies regarding data access, retention, and disposal. Blueprint meets FIPS 140-2 standards for encryption with all sensitive data stored on a server located in a locked room in our Toronto office. Staff access to project folders on the encrypted server is strictly controlled according to corporate policies and procedures. Backups are managed by Bitlocker and are saved locally on encrypted drives located in a locked room in our offices. Sensitive information is never saved on individual users’ hard drives, on cloud network drives, or on unencrypted external drives. Bitlocker is deployed on all local computers, such that any cached data stored when viewing sensitive information on local computers is encrypted. Finally, all machines across all platforms are kept up to date within 30 days of the latest security updates.
