Diversity and Inclusion

The heart of who we are at WCG is our commitment to ensuring every team member feels respected and valued, with a genuine sense of belonging. We have deeply embedded beliefs that prioritize inclusion and opportunity for all, especially those facing oppression and discrimination.

This commitment strengthens the way we provide services to the people we serve. Success for our clients, and for us, is linked to creating a workplace where we each bring our unique perspectives and talents to work.

As a provider of services to the federal government, we’re pleased to participate in the Federal Contractors Program. Additionally, we comply with the Employment Equity Act and actively recruit and retain Persons with Disabilities, Racialized People, Women and Indigenous Peoples. Visit the Government of Canada website for general information on the Act and workplace equity.

The 50-30 Challenge

WCG is committed to the 50-30 Challenge

An initiative of the Government of Canada, Canadian businesses and diversity organizations, the 50-30 Challenge aims to increase the representation and inclusion of diverse groups within their workplaces, while highlighting the benefits of giving all Canadians a seat at the table.

Through the 50-30 Challenge, WCG is committing to achieve at least 50 per cent gender diversity and 30 per cent underrepresented groups in Canada, which include racialized persons, those who identify as 2SLGBTQI+ and people living with disabilities, to our board and senior management levels.
